Proposed development of the area was preceeded by three trial trenches. Two, along side an existing boundary wall, revealed evidence for three successive building phases (C15, C16, and post-C16). Remains of a C15-C16 building and possible floor surface were noted alongside the wall. Small amounts of medieval and post-medieval pottery and animal bones were recovered. {1}
