As far as we are aware this site is open to the public at certain times. (Open Access Land, expires 30/09/06). [Information last updated on 14 May 2003]

Details:

Mound 36ft diameter and 3ft high (T401). Flat topped with signs of old disturbance in the centre. Doubtful whether it is a tumulus. {1}

Barrow 11 paces diameter and 2.5ft high (Evercreech 10). Probably Skinners no 3. {2}

Opened by Skinner - primary cremation at a depth of 3ft without any urn. {3}

Mound 8m diameter and 1m high with evidence of old excavation pit. Good grass cover. {4}

May have been one of the barrows excavated by Gray (see PRN 23502). Scheduled as AM 257k. Contained within hillfort (PRN 23483) and cemetery (PRN 23502). {7}
