Barrow cemetery containing two possible long barrows, and four or five round barrows. All except one barrow were scheduled as AM 140a-e. For individual sites see PRNs 23254 23255 23257 23258 23259 23260. Confusion has arisen as AM 140d and AM 140e (PRNs 23255 and 23257) are scheduled separately as being two halves of a long barrow, whereas Grinsell considers one to be a long barrow and the other to be a round barrow and the OSAD consider both mounds to be round barrows. {1}
Scheduling revised 11.08.1993 with new national number which includes three bowl barrows (PRNs 23257 23258 23259 and one long barrow (PRN 23255). {3}
